Privacy Policy

The calculators, converters and text and developer tools all run inside your browser. The numbers and text you type into them are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we could not read them if we wanted to. We do not ask you to create an account, and the site never asks for your name, email address or payment details.

If you agree to it, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It does not run unless you accept the cookie banner. There is no advertising on the site at present.

Every tool on this site is executed by your own browser. When you paste JSON into the formatter, type text into the word counter, enter figures into a calculator, choose a photo or a PDF in the image and PDF tools, or type a Wi-Fi password into the QR code generator, that data stays on your device. No request carrying it is made to any server, and nothing is written to a database — this site does not have one.

Closing the tab discards everything you entered. Nothing is retained between visits.

Three small preferences are kept in your browser's local storage. They contain no identifier, are never transmitted, and exist only so the site behaves the way you asked.

You can remove them at any time by clearing site data in your browser. The site will simply return to its defaults.

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This tells us which tools are worth improving. IP anonymisation is enabled, and the analytics script is not loaded at all unless you have accepted — declining means it is never downloaded, not merely disabled.

We never send the contents of any tool to analytics. The values you calculate, the text you count and the tokens you decode are not recorded, transmitted or measured in any form.

The site is intended to be funded by advertising. Where advertising is enabled it is served by Google, which may use cookies to measure and personalise the ads shown. As with analytics, nothing loads until you accept the cookie banner.

Writing to contact@toolore.com is the one way we receive personal information: your email address, your name if your mail client includes it, and whatever you choose to write. Mail to that address is relayed by ImprovMX, an email forwarding service, to a Gmail inbox, so both services handle the message in transit and storage.

We use it only to reply to you. It is never added to a mailing list, shared or used for anything else, and you can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.

• We do not sell data. There is nothing to sell.
• We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
• We do not use fingerprinting, session recording or heatmap tools.
• We do not send marketing email, and we do not collect email addresses beyond replying to people who write to us.
• We do not require an account, and there is no way to create one.

You can change your mind about analytics and advertising at any time from the Cookie Policy page, which includes a control to withdraw consent. Withdrawing is as straightforward as giving it.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data held about you. Because we hold no accounts, the only thing we could have on file is email you have sent us. Ask and we will send you a copy or delete it.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The site collects no personal information from visitors; if a child has emailed us, ask and we will delete it.

If the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be reflected here before the new behaviour goes live.

Toolore is an independent site run by an individual, based in India. It is not a registered company, and there is no organisation behind it.

There is no data protection officer, because the site holds no accounts and collects no personal data beyond email people choose to send. Anything you want to raise can be sent to the address below and will be answered directly.
