How to use this tool
- Choose two or more PDF files. You can add more at any time.
- Use the arrows to put them in the order you want; the merged file follows this order exactly.
- Remove anything you added by mistake with the ✕ button.
- Press Merge, then download the result.
Notes and limitations
- The files are read and written by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab discards everything.
- Pages keep their own size and orientation, so an A4 page and a photo page stay as they are rather than being stretched to match.
- Text stays selectable and searchable — pages are copied, not turned into pictures.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
- Bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures are not carried over. A signature is invalidated by any change to the document, including merging.
- Very large files are limited by your device's memory rather than by any upload limit.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The merging is done by JavaScript running in your browser. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Is there a file size or file count limit?
There is no limit set by the site. In practice your device's memory decides: a few hundred pages is comfortable on a normal phone or laptop.
Why can it not open my file?
Either the PDF is password-protected, or it is damaged. Open it in a PDF reader, remove the password or re-save it, and try again.
Does merging reduce quality or size?
Neither. Pages are copied as they are, so quality is untouched and the merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. This tool does not compress.
