Split PDF
Choose a PDF and say which pages you want — single pages, ranges, or both. The pages come out in the order you list them, and the file never leaves your device.
For example 1-3, 5, 8-
Choose a PDF and the pages you want, then press Extract.
How to use this tool
- Choose a PDF. The number of pages appears once it loads.
- Type the pages you want: 1-3 for a range, 5 for one page, 8- for “page 8 to the end”, or a mix such as 1-3, 5, 8-.
- Leave the box empty to keep every page — useful if you only want to reorder them.
- Press Extract, then download the new PDF.
Worked examples
Keeping the first three pages and the last one of a 10-page file
- Enter: 1-3, 10
A four-page PDF, in that order.
Reversing two pages
- Enter: 2, 1
A two-page PDF with page 2 first — the order you type is the order you get.
Notes and limitations
- The original file is never changed; a new PDF is created from the pages you chose.
- To delete pages, list the ones you want to keep. The result contains only those.
- Everything runs in your browser, so the document is not uploaded and nothing is stored.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened here. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
- Form fields, bookmarks and signatures are not carried into the new file.
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove a page from a PDF?
List the pages you want to keep and leave the unwanted one out. For a 6-page file without page 4, enter 1-3, 5-6.
Can I get each page as its own file?
Not in one step. Run the tool once for each page you need — enter a single page number each time.
Does splitting make the file smaller?
Usually yes, because only the chosen pages and the resources they use are kept. It is not a compressor, so a single image-heavy page will still be large.
